Hatched was the UK's longest-running online estate agency, operating for over 12 years. It was bought by Connells Group in 2015 and closed in September 2018 due to market conditions and internal restructuring.

For the last six months of business, Hatched marketing activity was brought in-house to my department. I produced all-new content for landing pages, campaigns, staff bios, and weekly blogs.

I also worked on campaign concepts, interviewed customers to create case studies and success stories, and developed the Hatched style guide with a more accessible tone-of-voice.

Direct mail campaigns.

Weekly blogs targeting SEO keywords to support campaign messaging.

...This is where I learned to back everything up. hatched.co.uk isn't around anymore, and the Internet Archive only saved one post – I wrote dozens!

Here's the one survivor, and some more below in document form.

When Hatched marketing was brought in-house the strategy was to replace paid advertising with organic SEO. I produced regional landing pages targeting key areas.
